I’m Aseaba

I’m a marine wife of 12 years, and mom of 5. When I first married my marine, I expected my life to be like an endless episode of Army Wives-with instant friends, support, and role models to show me how to navigate this life.

Boy was I wrong! Not only did I find it was hard to make new friends once we moved away from my home town. I wasa downright lonely. I began resennting my husband, and our choice to move so far from everyhting and everyone I knew.

Over time, I began to make changes that developed me personally, helped me step out of my comfort zone, and eventually find my own place within the military world. 

As a result, I am just where my family needs me, I am available to support my husband in his career, and Ive never been more fulfilled personally. 

It turns out that when the military spouse finds fulfillment, she can spread it around to her entire family, as well as her home. 

My goal now, is to help military wives find their own place while they navigate the ups and downs of military life.
